Barcelona, Spain

The capital of Catalonia, and one of its provinces, Barcelona, is a place of palpable history where you can lose yourself strolling down the medieval streets of the Barri Gotic. It's a city designed to delight the senses. Visit other-worldly Modernista churches like Gaudi's La Sagrada Familia, or treat yourself to Patatas Bravas or a sangria at a street side cafe. A destination of her own, Barcelona will serve as the perfect launching pad for five days of Blues on The Med.

Valletta, Malta

Monday, August 19, 2019

With a collection of original Baroque architecture, city walls overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and the spectacular Co-Cathedral of St John, it is no wonder that this smallest of European capital cities is a world heritage site. Malta’s Valletta may be one of Europe’s smallest capitals, but it was named Europe’s Capital of Culture for 2018 and is a piece of living history. It is a walkable city with something to see at every turn. Designed in a grid, every cross-street ends in a patch of Mediterranean blue, opening into panoramic bastion-top harbor views. Guests will enjoy a full day to explore and enjoy the art, cathedrals, museums, and more.
